DeBrusk Scores Winner in Second Period

BOSTON, MA - December 19, 2022 - Jake DeBrusk scored twice as the Boston Bruins snapped a two-game losing streak with a 4-2 victory over the Florida Panthers on Monday night at TD Garden.

DeBrusk opened the scoring just 21 seconds into the game, beating Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky with a wrist shot from the slot. The Bruins took a 2-0 lead on a power play goal by David Pastrnak at 14:47 of the first period.

The Panthers tied the game in the second period on goals by Sam Reinhart and Carter Verhaeghe. But DeBrusk put the Bruins back in front with his second goal of the game at 16:56 of the second period.

Ullmark made 19 saves to earn the win. Bobrovsky stopped 26 shots for the Panthers.
