CrowdStrike Falcon Agent Causing Blue Screen of Death on Windows Endpoints
CrowdStrike has identified an issue impacting Windows endpoints that are running the CrowdStrike Falcon agent.
Users across the globe have been impacted by the infamous Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) triggered by CrowdStrike's update of its Falcon.
The issue has been linked to a recent update released by CrowdStrike for its Falcon endpoint security agent. The update has been found to cause a conflict with the Windows kernel, resulting in a system crash and the dreaded BSoD.
CrowdStrike has acknowledged the issue and is actively working on a resolution. In the meantime, the company has recommended that affected users take the following steps:
